The Kidney Society is delighted to announce that applications for the 2023 Nora Van der Schrieck professional development scholarships are now open.
The Society recognises the importance of supporting New Zealand’s health workforce and two scholarships of up to $4,000 are to be awarded annually to health professionals and or academics working in the field of renal medicine and kidney health. The scholarship can be used for a wide variety of purposes such as expenses for conference registration and travel, course fees, and or other professional development costs.
Applications are now open and can be made on the attached form. The deadline for applications is 31 May and all applicants will be notified shortly thereafter. Successful applicants can use their Scholarship funding any time in the following 12 months.
The Nora Van der Schrieck professional development scholarships have been created to recognise the outstanding contribution made by the retired Kidney Society Executive Director Nora Van der Schrieck who served for over 30 years.
