Flexible, independent dialysis — your home away from home.
However, for some, having a machine at home isn’t possible. That’s why the Kidney Society offers a great alternative: dialysis in a comfortable “home away from home.” In partnership with Middlemore Hospital, we provide three community dialysis houses conveniently located across South Auckland.

Private Dialysis
If you're visiting New Zealand and need private dialysis services, please contact us and we will share details for private dialysis providers.
Is there a cost?
At the Kidney Society, all our support services are provided free of charge. Whether you need guidance from our social work team, help navigating your kidney health journey, access to our wellness programmes, or support for you and your whānau, we're here when you need us.
If you've found our services valuable or simply want to help ensure they're available for others, we invite you to become a Kidney Society member. Find out more here.
Do I need a referral?
Those with end-stage kidney failure can self-refer by phoning us on 09 278 1321 or emailing us at referral@kidneysociety.org.nz. Other people can also refer on your behalf for example, a GP or a member of your renal team.
The process
Our team is available to call Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and will provide you with the guidance you need whether it’s information, resources or contacts for other support organisations. Call us on 09 278 1321 or 0800 235 711
If you want to speak to someone about your kidney condition in person, our experienced and knowledgeable team can visit you in your home.
